I believe there is only ONE GOD that lives without limitations.
I believe in the Holy Trinity which is God in three distinct persons.
— God the Father, the eternal first person of the trinity and our loving Father, Abba.
— Jesus Christ is the eternal second person of the trinity, who was brought into existence by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. I believe he is fully God, but became fully man to save us. I believe that he was crucified and three days later rose from the grave, that he ascended into heaven, and will one day return again.
— Holy Spirit is the eternal third person of the Trinity, who permanently lives in every believer upon his or her faith in Jesus Christ (Salvation). Jesus wants to live His life in us and through us by the power of the Holy Spirit living in us. In John 14: 16-17, Jesus promised the He would send the Holy Spirit to live in us. If we believe, the Holy Spirit will live in us and we will be empowered to live fruitful lives. Scripture is clear that it is God’s will, and an absolute necessity to enable us to live fruitful lives of impact.
I believe we are all made in the image of God.
— God designed us to have fellowship with Him, but we walked away from Him through disobedience. Because of that, we are all born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. We are not able to gain a right relationship with Him through our own efforts.
I believe Salvation is our gift from God IF WE ACCEPT IT.
— We can never make up for our sin with good works or with self improvement. ONLY by trusting in Jesus Christ and receiving him in your heart by faith will eternal life begin. If you believe, then all else falls into place… you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and then have confidence that He is in you, making you strong, and giving you everything you need to experience any future situation.
I believe the Bible is the inspired and written word of God and is without error.
There is a passage that I believe I should strive to live by throughout my life.
The Great Commission.. the instructions from a resurrected Jesus Christ to his
disciples (believers) to spread His teachings to all the nations of the world.
Matthew 28:17-20 says – When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
